Enable payment discrepancy notifications to help identify differences between expected and actual payment amounts. When a discrepancy is detected, an email notification is sent to your nominated recipients so they can investigate and resolve the issue quickly.
Use the steps below to enable the 'Send emails when payment discrepancies found' setting and configure your notification recipients.
Enable payment discrepancy notifications
Go to the Configure Xero page.
Turn on Send emails when payment discrepancies found.
Enter the recipient email addresses in the field provided.
Click Save.
A confirmation message will appear once the configuration has been saved successfully.
Multiple email addresses
If sending notifications to multiple recipients, separate each email address with a comma: [email protected], [email protected], [email protected]
đNote: Email addresses must be comma-separated. Entering addresses on separate lines will cause an error and prevent the setting from saving.
