Below are quick answers to common errors you may see when using Zapier with Access PaySuite DDCMS.
Zapier isn’t loading any sample data. What should I do?
This usually happens when Access PaySuite DDCMS doesn’t have a recent customer, payment or Direct Debit to pull from. Create a test record in Access PaySuite DDCMS and click Load More in Zapier. Also make sure the Zap is connected to the correct Sandbox or Production environment.
Why does Zapier say a required field is empty?
A mandatory field in the action isn’t present in the trigger sample. Make sure the sample includes CustomerReference, the correct Direct Debit reference (if needed), a valid date and a valid amount. If anything is missing, create a new test record in Access PaySuite DDCMS and reload the trigger.
Why is my date format invalid?
Access PaySuite DDCMS only accepts dates in the YYYY‑MM‑DD format.
Examples include:
• 2026‑03‑01
• 2026‑02‑09
Why is my amount format invalid?
Amounts must contain numbers only, with no symbols or commas.
Valid examples include:
• 50
• 50.00
• 1299.99
Zapier says a reference doesn’t exist. What does that mean?
This appears when the CustomerReference or Direct Debit reference in the trigger doesn’t match anything in the Access PaySuite DDCMS environment being used. Check that every Zap step uses the same environment and that the trigger sample was pulled from that environment.
Why won’t Access PaySuite DDCMS connect in Zapier?
The authentication details may not match your Access PaySuite DDCMS setup. Confirm that your Client Code matches your Access PaySuite DDCMS URL, your API Key was copied correctly, your user role allows third‑party integrations, and the correct environment was selected during connection.
Why are duplicate records being created?
This often happens when both a Sandbox and Production version of the same Zap are turned on, or when the trigger runs more times than expected. Turn off any older or test Zaps and add a Filter step if only certain records should continue.
Why can’t I see all expected fields from Access PaySuite DDCMS?
Zapier only displays fields that exist in the trigger sample. If something is missing, create a new test record in Access PaySuite DDCMS and reload the trigger to refresh available fields.
