I keep getting logged out of DDCMS when trying to use the system

DDCMS is logging out when actioning tasks.

This issue can occur if your IP address keeps changing, normally relating to being connected to a VPN (Virtual Private Network).

A VPN (Virtual Private Network) adds security and anonymity to users when they connect to web-based services and sites. A VPN hides the user's actual public IP address and โ€œtunnelsโ€ traffic between the user's device and the remote server, usually from a connection based a your organisation's head office.

Contact your organisation's IT department to agree the best solution. Solutions may include:

  • Turn off the VPN when using DDCMS. Traffic is secure between your organisation and DDCMS. Or alternatively, work to make the VPN stable.

  • Employ some form of stickiness on the load balancer for the user's machine so that they use the same connection and external IP.

  • Make the connection via a cable.
