There may be times when you need to change a customer's details. This can vary from a change of title and surname to an address or bank details.
๐Note: When changing bank account details, a communication is sent to the bank and takes the same time as your New Direct Debit setup notice period. Please ensure enough time between making this change and the next collection date.
๐Note: If your customer is currently suspended and you're updating their bank details to reactivate them, you need to restart the Direct Debit after following the steps. You'll also need to follow the steps if the Direct Debit is cancelled.
๐Note: When signing up customers via paper Direct Debit mandates, please ensure you retain a copy of the updated bank details before making any changes in Access PaySuite DDCMS.
Amend your customer's details
Using the CUSTOMERS tab, find the customer by searching any of the fields.
Click View Customer the eye icon, this takes you to the customer's PROFILE tab where you can amend the customer's details.
Click SAVE to complete any amendments.
