Question field error in eDD

Error 'Question field cannot be empty' when saving changes to your eDD page.

If you are attempting to save changes to your eDD site and receiving the error 'Question field cannot be empty', please ensure that any Custom Question widgets within your page have been completed with data in the question field. You may need to open any Custom Question widgets on the page to check this.

Once you have found the widget containing the blank question field, you can rectify this by following the steps below:

  1. Click the information area within the page to open the Custom Question widget.

  2. A box will appear containing the Custom Question options.

  3. Between the option buttons and the answer field/dropdown, click the blank space.

  4. You can then type in your question and click the tick button at the top of the box.

  5. Click the Save Design button at the top of the page.
