Below are answers to some frequently asked questions when using DDCMS Direct:
How do I access the new DDCMS Direct module?
Once you're logged into DDCMS with a Client Admin account, you'll see the 'DDCMS Direct' module in the top navigation bar but only if this feature has been enabled for your client account.
๐Note: Only users who have been granted DDCMS Direct permissions will be able to access and use this module. If you donโt see it, itโs likely that either the feature hasnโt been activated for your account or your user permissions donโt include access to it.
Who can set up permissions for DDCMS Direct users?
Only users with 'Can Administer' permissions can change DDCMS Direct settings and give access to others. These options are found in the Administrator screen, which only appears for users with admin rights.
What permissions are available in DDCMS Direct?
Below are the four permission levels in DDCMS Direct:
Direct Enabled โ Basic access to view and use the module.
Can Administer โ Manage settings and user permissions.
Can Upload โ Upload and submit files for processing.
Can Approve โ Review and approve uploaded files for final submission.
Can the person who uploads a file also approve it?
No, there is a security restriction that prevents the user who uploaded a file from approving it themselves, even if they have both upload and approval permissions.
What happens if I upload a duplicate file?
The system checks for duplicates by comparing filename, file type, number of records, and total amount against files from the last 25 days. If a match is found, you'll receive a warning and can choose to:
Proceed with submission if you're certain it's not a duplicate.
Cancel the upload to prevent processing.
