Overview
In this release, we are introducing Evo Native Tab Integration for DDCMS, delivering a unified workspace experience that keeps you within the Evo platform while accessing DDCMS functionality.
This enhancement eliminates the need for separate browser tabs and creates a seamless, integrated workflow across your Access products.
Building on the Access Button and Feed features introduced in previous releases, the Evo Tab integration provides a more cohesive user experience. When enabled, DDCMS opens directly within your Evo workspace, maintaining context and streamlining navigation between applications. This integration ensures you stay within a single, unified environment while accessing all the DDCMS capabilities you depend on.
Who Does This Apply To?
The Evo Native Tab Integration applies to all users who authenticate to DDCMS via Access Evo Identity (Single Sign-On). If you access DDCMS through your Evo workspace, this integration provides you with a unified tab experience.
Accessing DDCMS via Evo Tab
Opening DDCMS in Evo
Clicking the DDCMS product tile from your Evo workspace automatically opens DDCMS within an Evo tab, rather than in a separate browser window.
This creates a unified workspace where you can access DDCMS alongside your other Access products without switching between browser tabs or windows.
Evo Navigation
Once DDCMS is open within an Evo tab, you can:
Navigate freely within DDCMS as you normally would
Access all DDCMS functionality without interruption
Switch between DDCMS and other Evo products using the workspace navigation
Return to your Evo home screen at any time using the Access Button
The DDCMS interface remains fully functional within the Evo tab, with all features and capabilities available as expected.
Preserving Your Workflow
The Evo Tab integration intelligently handles your navigation to ensure a smooth experience:
Within Evo Tabs
When you're already working in a DDCMS Evo tab and click links or navigation items, you remain within the tab environment
User-initiated actions maintain the tab context
Other Ways to Access DDCMS
When you access DDCMS through other methods, it will also open within an Evo tab:
Bookmarks and Direct Links
Bookmarked DDCMS URLs automatically redirect to open within an Evo tab
Your intended destination is preserved during the redirect
Email and Feed Links
Links in emails and feed items will direct you to DDCMS in Evo tabs
Transitioning from Standalone Browser
If you're currently working in DDCMS in a standalone browser, your next visit to DDCMS will automatically redirect to open within an Evo tab
How To Access This Update
The update will be applied to everyone on our SaaS platform on 22nd April 2026
