What's New
This release changes how DDCMS works when accessed via the Evo platform. If your organisation uses Evo to access multiple clients in DDCMS, you will notice a change to how you select and switch between them. Users who access DDCMS directly, outside of Evo, are not affected by this release.
DDCMS via Evo
Active client scope selector replaced by Evo organisation switcher
Previously, when accessing DDCMS via Evo, a data scope selector appeared in the top-right corner of the screen in DDCMS. This selector allowed users to switch between or aggregate across multiple clients in DDCMS. This selector has been removed for Evo users.
In its place, the active client name is now displayed in the top-right corner. Hovering over it shows all clients your account has access to, with your primary client shown in bold.
Switching between clients via the Evo org switcher
To switch between clients, use the organisation switcher in the Evo navigation bar at the top of the screen. Selecting a different organisation switches the active client in both DDCMS and Access PaySuite simultaneously. The data displayed in DDCMS updates automatically to show data for the selected client. No logout or reload is required.
You can only view one client at a time. Each client’s data is kept separate and only the data for the active client is displayed.
Primary client and primary role
Every user has a primary client. This is the client they were first assigned to via Evo. The primary client is shown in bold in the hover tooltip.
In DDCMS, a user's role is determined by their primary client and applies across all clients in the group. For example, if a user's role on their primary client is ClientUser, they will be treated as ClientUser on all other clients they have access to in DDCMS, regardless of the specific role assigned to them for those other organisations.
To change a user’s role for the primary specific client, this must be done by an Evo as an Administrator. Role changes made in Evo are applied to DDCMS automatically via a webhook – no manual update in DDCMS is required.
Note: Changing the role for a non-primary client in Evo will not affect the user's access level in DDCMS
What has not changed
All DDCMS functionality remains the same. Customers, schedules, communications, BACS, reports and cancellation templates all work as before. The only change is how you select and switch the active client when accessing DDCMS via Evo.
How to access this update
The update will be applied to everyone on our SaaS platform on 30/06/2026
