DDCMS Direct permissions control which users can access the module and what actions they can perform. Managing permissions helps ensure users have the appropriate level of access while maintaining security controls.
Only users with the Can Administer permission can manage DDCMS Direct settings and grant access to other users.
Users with Can Administer permissions will see Administrator in the DDCMS Direct left-hand menu, where DDCMS Direct permissions can be viewed and managed.
DDCMS Direct permissions
The following permissions are available in DDCMS Direct:
Direct Enabled - Allows a user to access and use the DDCMS Direct module.
Can Administer - Allows a user to manage DDCMS Direct settings and user permissions.
Can Upload - Allows a user to upload and submit files for processing.
Can Approve - Allows a user to review and approve uploaded files before they are submitted for processing.
đNote: Users must have Direct Enabled assigned before they can use DDCMS Direct.
File approval restrictions
A user cannot approve a file they uploaded themselves.
This restriction applies even if the user has both Can Upload and Can Approve permissions. Another authorised user must approve the file before it can be submitted for processing.
This helps maintain separation of duties and provides an additional level of security within the approval process.
DDCMS Direct visibility
Users with the required permissions will see DDCMS Direct in the top navigation bar after signing in.
If a user cannot see the module, check that:
DDCMS Direct has been enabled for your client account.
The user has the Direct Enabled permission assigned.
If the module is still not visible, please contact us via the Access Digital Assistant and request to speak to a support agent.
