If you are adding a new customer to take a new payment, you can use the payment calculator to work out your cut-off times. You will need to know the minimum working days in your agreement to add this.

For example, if my collection is on Monday 7 April, the calculator will work out my submission deadlines and request notices. However, if Monday 7 April is a bank holiday, that Monday should be deferred to Tuesday 8 April.

Once the collection has been taken, the collection can be expected in the business’ bank account. For facilities-managed customers, the disbursal payment can be expected on the third working day after the collection date.

For example, if my collection date is Tuesday 8 April, I can expect the funds to show in the bank on Friday 11 April. However, if Friday 11 April is a bank holiday, the settlement will be expected on Monday 14 April. If Monday 14 April is also a UK bank holiday, the settlement will be expected on Tuesday 15 April.

📌Note: The dates given in these scenarios are given as examples for the purpose of demonstration. Please refer to the government website for any upcoming bank holidays.
