Custom Bank Reference on EazyWeb page

Restrict customers from adding their own custom bank reference.

If you are using an EazyWeb link to allow customers to sign themselves up to Direct Debit, you may wish to toggle off allowing the Custom Bank Reference field on the registration page.

If the Custom Bank Reference field remains on the page, customers may choose to add their own choice of reference here or even mistake this for space to enter their bank's name.
You may then see an increase of customer contracts within Access PaySuite DDCMS which have random Bank Refs or customers receiving errors relating to this field.

To toggle this feature off so that customers are not given the option to add their own Custom Bank Reference, please contact our Access Digital Assistant for support. If the assistant can't resolve your query, you're connected to a support agent for further investigation. Once this has been actioned, customers will be set up in Access PaySuite DDCMS with an automated reference using your reference prefix.
