It may become necessary to change a collection amount permanently for a fixed or rolling contract. To do this, follow the steps below:

📌Note: If you change the payment amount after the Payment Submission deadline for an upcoming payment, then the old amount will be collected for that payment.

📌Note: Changing the amount won't change the initial payment amount if this differs to the regular payment amount.

  1. Within the CUSTOMERS tab, find the customer by searching any of the fields.

  2. Click View Customer the eye icon. This opens the customer's PROFILE.

  3. Click the customer’s CONTRACTS tab within their profile.

  4. Within the customers contracts tab, drop down the > under No. and this will show the customers schedules.

  5. On the schedule row under Actions, click the double green cog icon.

  6. From the the dropdown select Edit Schedule.

  7. Select when the customers schedule should change either As soon as possible or On this date.

  8. Click Next Step.

  9. If the customer has multiple schedules select the correct one which needs amending under Actions, click the green cog icon and click Edit Schedule Version. If the customer only has one schedule, this will take you to the next page to edit the schedule.

  10. Add in the customers schedule information including collection details and new amount in the Regular amount field.

  11. Select correct termination type under Terminating payments.

  12. Click Next Step once actioned.

  13. Click Confirm these changes and this will take you back to the previous screen.

  14. The Regular Amount field will reflect the amended amount.

You are also able to view the new amount by clicking View Calendar next to the green cog icon which will show you the future pending payments. You can also view the new amount in CONTRACT UPDATES.

The first amount can be updated via uploading payment files.

If you have numerous customer price changes you can upload a bulk price change.
