If the first payment has already been collected on a fixed or rolling contract, to change the Direct Debit collection date moving forward follow the steps below:
Within the CUSTOMERS tab, find the customer by searching any of the fields.
Click View Customer the eye icon. This opens the customer's PROFILE.
Click the customer’s CONTRACTS tab within their profile.
Within the customers contracts tab, drop down the > under No. and this will show the customers schedules.
On the schedule row under Actions, click the double green cog icon.
From the the dropdown select Edit Schedule.
Select when the customers schedule should change either As soon as possible or On this date.
Click Next Step.
If the customer has multiple schedules select the correct one which needs amending under Actions, click the green cog icon and click Edit Schedule Version. If the customer only has one schedule, this will take you to the next page to edit the schedule.
Click the dropdown box under Day of Month and select the new collection date. This will give the options of the available dates that have been enabled on your account.
Click Next Step once actioned.
Click Confirm these changes and this will take you back to the previous screen.
The new collection date will be reflected under Regular Collection Date/Day of Month/Date.
You are also able to view the new collection date by clicking View Calendar next to the green cog icon which will show you the future pending payments. You can also view the collection date amendment in CONTRACT UPDATES.
📌Note: If you change the payment date after the payment submission deadline for an upcoming payment, then it is still collected. To check the payment submission deadlines, use our Date Calculator.
📌Note: If the first payment has not yet been collected, you are unable to change the payment date. You may wish to update the start date of the contract or use a skip payment patch.
📌Note: If the contract is an annual contract you may need to use a file upload to amend the date to ensure it collects in the same year if the year is jumping to the following year.
