Use an Additional Reference in eDD

If you're using eDD alongside Access PaySuite DDCMS to collect Direct Debit sign-ups, you can include an Additional Reference by appending it to the eDD URL as a query string parameter. This enables you to associate an additional identifier with a contract and search for it later in Access PaySuite DDCMS.

Append the following parameter to your eDD URL, including your reference directly after the equals sign:

?additionalReference=

For example: https://your-edd-url.com?additionalReference=CUST12345

Once the customer completes the Direct Debit sign-up, the Additional Reference is stored against the contract and can be used when searching for contracts in Access PaySuite DDCMS.
