Use the eDD iframe on your website

Embed the eDD sign-up form directly into your website, allowing customers to register without leaving your site.

Written by Gemma Langley

The eDD iframe displays the Direct Debit sign-up form directly on your website, allowing customers to sign up without being redirected to a separate page.

Keeping the form on your site helps create a seamless experience for customers and keeps them engaged throughout the sign-up process.

How it works

To enable the eDD iframe, please contact us via the Access Digital Assistant and request to speak to a support agent, providing the URL of the webpage where you would like the form to appear.

The support team will configure the eDD iframe for the webpage URL provided and let you know when it's ready to use.

📌Note: Once Access PaySuite has configured the eDD iframe for your webpage URL, your web developer or website administrator must embed it into your website and complete any coding required. Access PaySuite cannot provide website-specific code or implement the iframe on your behalf.

Once set up:

  • The eDD sign-up form will display directly on your website.

  • Customers' Direct Debit details are processed securely on Access PaySuite-hosted infrastructure.

  • You will receive a notification each time a customer successfully completes the form.

  • If the customer provides an email address, they will also receive a confirmation email.

Use the iframe across multiple websites

The eDD iframe can only be registered against one website URL at a time.

If your organisation operates multiple websites, you can still share your eDD sign-up link on additional sites. However, customers will be taken to the hosted sign-up page in a new browser tab rather than seeing the form embedded within your website.

If the form does not load

The following issues are usually caused by the webpage URL not being registered correctly, requiring an update, or the iframe not being implemented correctly on your website:

  • The iframe appears blank.

  • The iframe does not load.

  • You need the iframe registered against a different website URL.

If Access PaySuite has confirmed that the eDD iframe has been configured correctly for your webpage URL, any issues relating to embedding or displaying the iframe should be investigated by your web developer or website administrator.

If you need the registered webpage URL to be updated, please contact us via the Access Digital Assistant and request to speak to a support agent.
