On some occasions someone using a joint account for their Direct Debit may pass away leaving their spouse or partner to continue the Direct Debit as an individual.
If the customer wishes to continue the Direct Debit, it is possible for them to do so using the same Bank Ref already on Access PaySuite DDCMS. You'll need to ask them to confirm whether the bank account details saved in Access PaySuite DDCMS are to remain the same or whether they have changed.
Once confirmed, you'll need to update the customer's details where applicable and restart the Direct Debit if it has since been cancelled by the bank.
